On behalf of Boston Children’s Museum’s Board and staff, we extend our most sincere gratitude to our generous community of donors, members, partners, and friends. As families continue to face barriers to accessing early education and the broader system is strained by workforce shortages and limited capacity, the Museum plays a vital role in filling gaps—delivering joyful, high-quality learning experiences that are developmentally rich, culturally responsive, and accessible to all.
In fiscal year 2026, the Museum raised over $10.4 million in grants, sponsorships, and endowed gifts, including the establishment of the Carole Charnow Endowment for the Performing Arts, to honor the 16-year leadership legacy of retired Museum President and CEO, Carole Charnow. This critical funding also included support for the Museum’s visionary climate efforts and the launch of Phase 1 our Waterfront Resiliency Plan, community engagement work with families from under-resourced Gateway Cities, and allowed for the opening of our dynamic new exhibition – Dream it! Build it! – which celebrates the design and construction industries and inspired the dreamers and builders of tomorrow.
Additionally, thanks to our generous community of supporters, we raised over $3 million in unrestricted support through the Helping Hands Campaign, the Museum’s Annual Fund; our record-breaking The Wonder Ball Celebrating Carole Charnow, an evening that raised $870,000 for the Museum and celebrated Carole’s leadership and legacy; and our Family, Library, and Corporate Connections membership programs.
Together, with our donors, partners, and friends, we can help to shape a more equitable, and more playful future for the children of Boston and beyond. To help the Museum continue this meaningful work, please visit here to make a gift.
Thank you for your helping hand!
